This is already the worst case scenario for the health insurance industry: millions of victims realize they are not alone with their problems.

Making money by denying sick people the medical treatment that they have paid for is despicable

RIP to everyone in the United States that were denied healthcare by these insurance companies.

He’s going to stay at large, at least I hope,

Look my dad died when I was 20. He had brain cancer. His doctors actually said they thought there was hope and they could possibly remove his tumor. His claim was denied. So instead I had to watch my father absolutely wither and fade and then ultimately die in front of me at the age of 20 and I absolutely needed him. He weighed less than I do now as a nearly 6 foot tall male, skin and bones and was gasping for air when he died and I had to watch it all happen and hold his hand.

It has caused me mental issues as an adult. I am now nearing 30 with two children he has never met, one being named after him, and I think about it every day. What if? What if he could’ve had this tumor removed before it absticized? Would he have known my children?

I have no empathy for the “victim”, I hope they never find this shooter,

They're not scared that he's a hitman. They're scared that he's a trendsetter.

If he had to use Greyhound to escape, then he's been punished enough already.

The Monopoly money in his backpack is just Chef's Kiss. A hoodie, a Starbucks, the city e-bike, the park, and a get away on the bus are part of the everyday-man appeal of this story.

This is so sad. Apparently, the CEO could have been saved, but gun sh0t wound to the chest are only covered if you opted for the premium coverage (and paid a minimum of 24 months of installments of 75.99$ a month) only to receive a maximum coverage of 100$ annually. Rough, but those are the terms.

I had United HealthCare many years ago when I worked at a law firm and I was denied multiple times. One was a much needed MRI for my neck and three months later when they did finally approve it (my neurosurgeon really got on them!) my neck had worsened as an infection was eating away at my bones. Now, my whole neck is hardware (screws and plates) because of their denials and not approving it sooner. I could have died from this infection! So the rich get richer and and people who are insured with them get sicker or die. Zero sympathies for this CEO!

Imagine paying into an insurance policy for 20+ years, losing a family member because said insurance provider turns their back on you and won't cover care, going bankrupt, and now can't afford a lawyer to sue your insurance company while they grind out your case in court for years with their staff lawyers, while you are are grieving your loss. Then this insurance company CEO making $10M is meeting in downtown Manhattan to brag about $450B in revenues. Is anyone actually surprised by this news?

45 murdered in the US every day. 1 rich guy gets murdered and all of a sudden it "How can this happen?" "How can we stop this????!!!". Sometimes you get everything you need to know all at once.

This man brought America back together. And during an election year. Stellar.

The victim went from virtually unknown to the most hated man in America. Quite a reversal of fortune

Rather than psychoanalyzing the killer, Dr. Grande analyzes the psychopathy of modern CEOs. What an absolutely wonderful and surreal time to be alive.

Another source of frustration worth mentioning is the fact that law enforcement rarely goes these lengths to solve other murders.

You know all this effort wouldnt be made if the victim was poor

I solved it!!!
Simply interview the tens of million folks who were forced into "medical bankruptcy".
Or simply interview the dead whose insurance company denied life to.

You should analyze Brian Thompsons and his company’s criminal actions against humanity in general
