US Air Force Boeing E-3G Sentry performing two touch & go's before landing at Abbotsford Airport.

I was extremely excited to finally see a Boeing E-3 in person. Once NOVA13 called tower and requested to do a few touch and go's, I knew this going to be epic. Hearing those engines whine when throttled up and down is definitely a sound to remember, and don't get me started on those insane smoke trails. 77-0351 will be displayed at Girls Fly Too (Oct 2, 3, 2021) this weekend and it was definitely worth waiting an entire day to see this unexpected performance. My old job! Loved going to air shows and static displays but hated doing touch & gos. The paint job on the rotodome is a mess; that usually happened when we were in Turkey & Saudi due to the sand blasts. Nice to see/hear the jet again!

Beautiful catch of this old B707 Awacs military aircraft. A very rare treat indeed. Enjoying its T & G not only once but twice. Super nice Mr ET

THe Boeing 707 airframe has so much lift that the landings are basically a controlled crash, both the wings and elevators have vortex generators on them. When we had them in CFB Trenton they were always in the hangers at night especially in the winter months to minimize the snow on the wings.
