Video Summary:
Tyrosine kinase-associated receptor itself is a simple receptor molecule without enzymatic activity. But they associate with the Janus or Src family of tyrosine kinases. Under the resting state, the receptors exist as monomers. The binding of a ligand causes dimerization, recruitment of JAK, phosphorylation of each other and phosphorylation of receptor, recruitment of STAT, its phosphorylation, dissociation and formation of dimer, entry into the nucleus and regulation of gene expiration.

This is a great video thank you so much! Just one thing, I think during examples you display GH but said growth factor… small correction.

In the video we see transphosphorylstion of jaks and receptor domains, but in the summary the transphosphorylstion isnt shown, which one is correct?

Your thumbnails with the enzymes as guns are really tempting. Couldnt help but to watch.

HI, can you tell me here does we need 1 ligand or 2 ligands for activating this receptor? And is this receptor dimer or became dimer after ligand binding?
