When I was a kid my grandpa used to have a saying. "A vacation consist of two weeks which are to short in which you are too tired to return and too broke not to." Lucky me I live in Michigan!

I must say, and I have never complimented anyone on you tube. Hands down, you all are 10 out of 10 on your balance of beauty, conversation, personality, and sincerity. Ive watched you all for over a year and I have watched you grow better month by month. I think what drives the improvement is your passion for what you do. God Bless.

I loved that you mentioned Michigan. Being from Michigan, it is such an overlooked gem. The summers here are unbelievable. It's the only thing that makes up for the long winter 😂

Tennessee is truly special. Been here 13 years now. People here are prouder of their state that the citizens of any other state. Nice video.

🤣 we rented a minivan a few years back and did a 6, 000 mile loop of the country with 4 kids in 14 days. It was epic, crazy, exhausting, and memorable. AZ, East to the U.P., then west to Rushmore than south. Ghost towns, random camping, and getting lost. It was awesome! Thanks for the 7 great places :)

It’s so refreshing to hear people speak of the US in an endearing way.

I would have to suggest the southwest corner of South Dakota. You can go to any one of many rv parks near rapid city. And from there you are within 90minutes of devils tower, spearfish canyons, deadwood, Sturgis, needles highway, iron mountain pass, Mount Rushmore, crazy horse monument, badlands national park, and Custer state park. If the weather isn’t cooperating you can still drive these areas without the hiking. But hiking in the black hills is unreal. And as a bonus you don’t need to move the rv the whole week. So much more fun at night not having to worry about moving the following day. No matter where you decide to go enjoy it. Good luck and God’s speed.

When you mentioned that there is something special in TN - this made me cry. I live in TN and I agree with you.

My wife and I was full time RV, diesel pusher, for about 9 years, after we left Alaska at the end of flying season in 2018.
We took two full months to get to Texas for the winter.
It has been my pleasure to show my Filipino wife the US, 35 states so far.
Back at it this summer.
Back roads, small towns, national parks, redwoods, black hills, bad lands, fishing on the boundary waters, eating at small roadside cafes.
Stopping at local fruit and veggies stands.
Enjoy, life is short.

I'm from Michigan, but have since moved to Florida. I miss walking in the grass barefoot, and summer in Michigan. I love Florida but Michigan is a gem.

The sounds of the rushing river, the crackling fire, and birds singing! Amazing

When I was a kid back in the 70's, my parents would start planning the family trip in spring. Each one of us 3 kids would be given a special place we were going to visit, and we were to research what we would do when we got there. We took the same trip you are on right now, and it was one of the most memorable times of my life. I got yellowstone and the tetons on that trip. Have fun, and stay safe.

A life long Michigander here. Michigan actually has two National Lakeshore Parks. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore AND a island 6 hours out in Lake Superior, called Isle Royale which is a National Park. Michigan’s only National park! Just to clarify! Isle Royale is a 100 miles Long Island with hiking for end to end. Full of moose and wolves. Both protected there. Well worth the trip!

As a Tennessee girl you warmed my heart when you mentioned the Smokies (and the Bourbon Trail in KY)...yes! It gets very crowded over that way but we're close enough we can sneak in, hang around, then get out as quiet as the wind. Love this video and love my " 2020 Summer to Remember" baseball tee! Well done!! :-)

We flew from Toronto to Calgary, rented an RV. Travelled to Banff, Jasper, over to BC to the Vancouver Island, to Pacific Rim NP and then thru the Okanogan Valley back to Calgary in 2 weeks. Its doable and totally worth it. I love your channel and look forward to a national park RV trip in the US once it's open again.
