The best strategy to RV Florida (especially in the summer) is to come prepared! As a Floridian this is so hysterically funny. When you linve it all the time its just the "norm" no matter how crazy. It funny when someone who is not used to it points it out. Enjoy the locals, including the gators and no-see-ums lol.

We are a fulltime sailing family of 5 who bounce in and out of Florida. We spent last hurricane season in the Dominican Republic and are currently in Guatemala. We usually stay in the Keys but have stayed in Jacksonville. We sailed down from NY and have no desire to move back to snowy winters. I can say Florida has a lot to offer for family fun and not everything is expensive

One nice RV park is actually a city park in Jacksonville. It's called Hanna Park, it is on the ocean, but the rv park portion is actually very woody, and you forget you are near the ocean.

Viper max Highly concentrated solution take 2 packets mixed in a gallon of water put some of that in a spray bottle spray down your entire RV on the outside spray around all the corners on the inside and even take a little bit of the stuff and pour it over your roof I have so recommend cleaning mopping your floors and wiping down your surfaces with a mixture of vinegar alcohol peppermint based soap a little peppermint oil mixed with detergent and I have found a 95% improvement in my past reduction doing these things

Love this video!!!! I live in Florida and we try to take our camper to a new spot in our state every month!!! You have to check out the springs next year!! Try blue springs state park, Wekiwa springs state park or rainbow springs state park!! You have to book all of them 11 months in advance!!! If you have any Florida questions please ask away!! One problem in Florida is that we get all of the horrible drivers from the rest of the country, sometimes the world. Being behind a Chinese driver who is going backwards on I4. Because they missed their exit is always a treat!

Thermacell works great. You can even get portable ones that clip to your belt. Great for fishing.
