Blake Angelos from Yamaha demonstrates the Montage music synthesizer at Kraft Music.

Yamaha Montage builds on the legacy of the DX and Motif synthesizers with sophisticated dynamic control, massive sound creation, and streamlined workflow. The Montage Motion Control Synthesis Engine and Motion Sequences offer unique ways of interacting with rhythm-based sound. Montage also provides 1.75GB of user flash memory to augment its internal AWM2 and FM-X sound engines. Seamless Sound Switching lets you change performances without any cut-off in envelope or effects. An A/D input is available for processing external audio sources through Montage's effects.

Montage is available in three configurations: Montage 6, with 61-key FSX semi-weighted synth action; Montage 7, with 76-key FSX action; and Montage 8, with 88-key weighted Balanced Hammer action with aftertouch.

I don't know if you guys played it yet, but I played it the other day and I was very impressed. If you're older, it might take a while to be comfortable with it, but for the adaptable, it will be a great experience. not entirely sure why they would sample all of the complex sounds in this video lol 😂😂😂

I just came to see if the sounds were still sorry compared to the variety of soft synth, yep I was right lol. Never again am I spending over $1, 000 on board that will likely be outdated quickier than an iPhone. I've learned my lesson a looong time ago. Also, congrats to Yamaha for using the same old piano sound for over 25 years while still making a profit.
