Instead of the bell sound, I like to add a road/electric piano has the same effect but it’s richer

Do you ever get any issues when you're creating these? I've noticed when I start layering sounds, the piano starts sounding strange
It sounds like the notes are cutting off when I change notes quickly. I've read some sites that say it might be a polyphony issue but I dont think so.
