The wild hogs here in Georgia are a mix, but mostly descendent from the Eurasian bore brought by Spanish explorers. If raised since birth than can be very docile just like this one here, it's all in the upbringing. My dad's hunting buddy took one home as a piglet and left it at his fenced in farm, it never tried to dig under the fence and run off... in fact he said it used to come up to the gate grunting and follow him around like a dog!! They can be very smart creatures.

Just 3 generations eating meat & forage, acorns and seeds, chestnuts, etc & they will regress back into their undomesticated boar state.
