Welcome Harry Potter Theory. Today I've compiled 10 fan theories that…Actually make quite a lot of sense. And given the colossal numbers of Harry Potter Theories out there, it only seems only fitting that ONCE in a while we (I’m including myself here) hit the nail on the head.

During my time on this channel I’ve covered some of the most preposterous theories out there..Like Cho Chang marrying Dudley Dursley and Dumbledore being a time travelling Ron Weasley. And so these theories, which come across as very REASONABLE and RATIONAL- are a bit of a breath of fresh air.

I can’t take credit for these theories, but I will be summarizing and dissecting them.

Anyway, let’s dive in.

7:32 Cedric Diggory would probably argue against the notion that no student died when Dumbledore was headmaster.

The mutual dislike between Harry and Snape impacted the occlumency lessons. Harry hated the lessons, because Snape gave them. Snape probably wasn't thrilled to give Harry the lessons. He did at Dumbledore's request. Further, Dumbledore later admitted to Harry that he should have given the lessons instead of Snape.

Had the Dementors sucked out Harry's soul, it would have left Tom Riddle's soul in charge of Harry's body!

I don't think Dumbledore want Harry to fail at occlumency, I think he just probably expected it, as its such high level magic so had planned around it.

Extra soul theory is great id like to add they would be able to sense the level of evil in the extra soul contained and maybe even how it was created

"The Dark Lord is at a considerable distance and the walls and grounds of Hogwarts are guarded by many ancient spells and charms to ensure the bodily and mental safety of those who dwell within them, ” said Snape.

This is probably why no one ever died on the grounds, except for Myrtle. But she was killed by a danger introduced a Hogwarts founder, so it might be an exception.

Edit: I meant to say no student.

In the movie Ron's divination does come true though. A wonky cross (kings cross/limbo), going to suffer but be happy about it (able to kill voldemort by being killed by voldemort)

Breaking the Elder Wand was as ridiculous as the Cho Chang marrying Dudley.

I don't think Dumbledore "intended" Harry to fail... I think he "intended" Snape to develop a bond with Harry.

The divination bit was in Goblet of Fire. I always wondered who the red haired man was that Trewlaney warned Parvati Patil about

With regards to Harry the Obscurial, it seems that in the book they are actually trying to keep Harry from becoming one, hence the absurd amounts of acceptation letters. This is why even orphans (like Tom) are visited with their acceptance letter to keep them from wreaking havoc as obscurus.

I've wondered if the Dementors sucked out Harry's soul, would they also suck out Voldemort's soul or leave that behind?
If they left Voldemort's soul in Harry's body, wouldn't that make him Voldemort?

Here is my theory: Hermione kidnapped Neville Longbottom's toad in order to wander about the train snooping on the other first year students.

Everybody interprets some things differently but to me the "Master of Death" thing was a load of rubbish. If there was a special reason why Harry could break the wand, then doesn't him being master of the wand itself do enough?

Honestly, I've always thought the reason Harry didn't die was because, like his mother, he was given the option to live, and he chose to die to save the people he loved. He didn't fight his death, similar to his mother.

I don’t consider what happens in the movies plausible. Only the things that happen in the books matter as they shorten and rearranged things for the movies. Therefore any theories that are taken from the movies don’t matter.Harry didn’t break the Elder Wand. He put it back with Dumbledore so that when Harry died the power would cease to exist.

Well considering what happened with his sister & then the events with the other guy in the prequels (don't know why I can't remember his name at the moment) where deaths & disaster happened because Grindlewald tried to use an obscurial for his own goals, I don't see that Dumbledore would ever intentionally want an innocent child to become an obscurial. He knows it's not a good plan & because of his sister wouldn't have the heart.

10. That would have been a solid theory. IF they very next chapter didn't explain otherwise, which it did. '''His body keeps her sacrifice alive, and while the enchantment survives, so do you'' - Dumbledore

9. So just because Harry had friends who supported him, it supposedly mean that they were his parents who timetraveled into the future? There's so many holes in this theory, none which makes sense that I don't even know where to begin. But it's clear whoever came up with this friendship clearly don''t know the difference between relations of friends and relation between child and parent.

8. That's semi plausible. But in the later chapter after the department of mystery, Dumbledore seemed really regretful for not teach Harry himself occlumency instead letting the professor he hates the most do it, causing Harry to fail to learn it and then fall into Voldemort's trap. The prophecy stored there could only be retrieved by Harry and the Order's mission through out the sixth book was to prevent Voldemort to get it.

7. That's the only theory on this list that makes sense and is believable

6. Because while Harry had apart of Voldemort's soul in him, he's still not an heir of Slytherin and directly descended from Salazar, while Voldemort was. And like explained in the CoS book, only their heir could control the monster within the chamber. Btw what's the theory here to begin with? This seems to me more like bringing up a potential plot hole which it isn't.

5. Both Harry and Ron made tons of random predication in the books with only about 3 being correct. It does not make them seers or good predictors in anyway and also divination as a subject is completely fraudulent with even Dumbledore considering the subject non-sense

4. What is the theory here? Everything here is correct and already canon with Hogwarts having tons of magical enchantments and protection to keep external threats to the castle and grounds safe. Pretty much all dangers or threats to the school we see in the books are internal threats except for the Battle of Hogwarts.

3. Yep exactly. Harry did not know of his magical abilities and also was to oblivious to realize whenever he did do accidental magic, hence never tried to repress them and thus not turn into an obscurial. Also if Dumbledore now wanted Harry to become one, you think he would introduce to Harry that he indeed actually was a wizard much early on, in hopes of repressing his magical abilities and turn into one. Then again Harry would most likely have died before going to Hogwarts and becoming any use of to Dumbledore as the Fantastic beasts state, the odds of an obscurial surviving past the age of 10 is incredible rare that we only know two individuals who's done so, Aurelius and Ariana.

2. Well as the films are only secondary canon to the books, then the true canon is Harry putting the elder wand back in Dumbledore's tomb.

1. That also makes sense as a theory if it was that. Because you can transport others with a port-key while holding on to the person who is touching it. We see this in Hogwarts Legacy after initial dragon attack with the student player character hold's Professor Figgs hand while Figg accios the port-key, transporting them to the ruins of Percival Rackham's home
