Mia, between 1969-74 Grand Funk was one of THE biggest bands in the world. Between 1969-76 they put out 12 albums and all of them are excellent.
“Closer To Home” is one of their best songs, as well as being the title of one of their best albums which was released in June of 1970 and went right to number one.

Don't feel bad Miaaaa. You're just young. My first concert was 1970, I was 12 and GFR was my first and "Inside Looking Out" and was unreal. Now I'm 65 yrs. old and still jammin to this band.

Grand Funk was an amazing band in concert first as a three man band from 69 to 71 then in 72 they added a keyboardist. They were among the biggest bands in the world. The are indeed under-rated in history.
