The PS5 does not support 144hz at this moment & only supports up to 120hz. With that being said, this might change in the future with an update or a PS5 Pro. So use 120hz for now

I used to have a very nice 400 dollar 144hz 1440p monitor not too long ago.
I broke it because im a dumbass.
I was PC less for a month and bought an old HP square monitor.
I was happier and much more appreciative that i have a working PC.
Sometimes even endgame stuff(yes that monitor i broke was endgame for me)
Wont make you happy unless you genuinely stop seeing things at face value
