I cant wait to hear all of the album as the subject matter and what I've heard so far has been intriguing. Not a vacuous"lets get drunk, I hate everything, party all day" album. How dare Nightwish actually put lots of thought, artistry, and soul into their work  !
Bands like Nightwish are the only reason I listen to anything modern.

The theme is probably going to piss off certain demographic of the Nightwish fandom, but I for one find it refreshing and more mature. Besides, science is sexy.

I'm watching this video while putting the final touches on my application for my astrophysics PhD. Science really is so broad, so fascinating... I have been volunteering at my local observatory for the last three years, getting me through some of the hardest times I have ever had to suffer, inspiring young people and adults to the wonders of the universe. I have listened to Nightwish for many years, but this is by far the album I am most excited for!

I agree with you Tuomas, I am also thrilled with nature - but for me it is not the science which is deep, poetic and awesome, but the creation itself which is only discovered by science!

Is there an irony of being inspired by Richard Dawkins to create an album that expresses the majesty and beauty of the scientific world? I say this because the chap always comes across as acidly atheistic.
