It's funny - I often think I like the old nightwish albums better and don't listen to these as often. But every single time I come back to them I'm reminded of how exceptional they are and how much I love the modern Nightwish as much as the older Nightwish, just different ways. They have evolved over 2 decades, it would be boring if they hadn't!

I knew Nightwish like two decades ago. Found their Everdream and Ghost Love Score, a great songs but never listen to any other NW songs. Recently I've discovered Greatest show on Earth... well after few weeks I manage to listen almost all of NW albums back to back. Man what a discovery :)
Floor manage to grasp all of Tarja and Annette vibe and put her own touch on top of it.
Anyway still processing what I am hearing ;)

i tought i didnt like nightwish.
untill one fatefull day i went to a festival where they headlined.
i was blown away by the performance. the whole band is good but floor is just amazing.
i am so happy for her she finally gets some of the recognision she gets in the netherlands now.

I found this band a few months ago, I've been looking for this type of music for decades and am so glad to have come across it. My new favorite song is 'Greatest Show on Earth'.
It takes a rare talent to condense 4 billion years into a few minutes.

Being a lifelong Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.) appreciator I had never heard of Nightwish or Floor until around 6 months ago or so and was pestered in to listening to "The Poet and the Pendulum" live and OMG I was blown away and from that day I have not resurfaced from down the Nightwish rabbit hole busily absorbing everything from the wonderful Tarja and Annette eras and now the incomparable Floor. I have a good friend to thank for pestering me in to listening. "Shudder Before the Beautiful" and "Weak Fantasy" from this album are two of the best live show openers that I have ever seen or heard. Nightwish live are phenomenal led by, in my humble opinion one of the best vocalist, male or female ever. 👍😊🙏

Tuomas Holopainen cravou o nome dele na historia da música com esse Cd. E eu sou da geração antiga, mas confesso que estou fazendo o caminho de volta pra casa. Esse Cd é uma obra prima. O detalhe sutil da história da música em Greatest Show on Earth pra mim é a prova do tamanho que Tuomas tem. Nightwish merece cada segundo de aplauso!

The first time I heard The Greatest show on Earth, it was from concert at Wembley and I thought the fireworks were just for fun, but now when I hear this part from album I think that idea with fireworks to mimic the sound of explosions was just marvellous!

One of the best albums in music history. And I know the history for I was born in 1955 - from the beginnings of Rock, to Hard Rock, to Metal. My 1st concert was Black Sabbath. Love this CD, love it, love it. Floor's voice and the music genius of Tomas and the group's musicians is an absolute joy to listen to. I was born to listen to this genre of music. Nightwish epitomizes Symphonic Metal. You are the model to strive for. Keep the music coming. I have every CD.

Mind blown to smithereens.... been listening to music since West Side Story ( 1961 ) and this is one of the very best albums I have heard in all that time. So very, very lucky to come into contact with this awesome band about 3 months ago...thank God ! Floor J is my new favourite singer...and the rest of the band are not too shabby either...not enough superlatives to describe the amazing musicianship all around. Finland's finest and arguably the World's best.
