Los Angeles under siege by out-of-control wildfires

Los Angeles is a city under siege from at least six ferocious fires.

Entire neighbourhoods have been scorched while mansions burn to the ground.

The death toll remains at five but authorities concede that number will rise.

The main fire in Pacific Palisades is causing the most damage – burning through 7,000 hectares.

Why did mayor Bass cut 18 millions dollars from the Fire Department budget? Why did the fire hydrants have zero water pressure? Why wasn't there a plan in place when they were warned that the possibility of catastrophic fires was imminent? Where are all the extra reservoirs that we voted, and paid for, in 2014?

The people of Los Angeles have been utterly screwed by these politicians. Lack of water pressure in hydrants, lack of forestry and brush removal etc. 🤬 all the homes gone 😢 and if the Hollywood sign is destroyed, their careers are over, the Governor of California’s career is over.
