Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED | The Foldable Laptop

Asus Zenbook 17 FOLD OLED is a foldable laptop with a flexible foldable OLED screen, it can be used like a 17.3" desktop computer and when required fold into a 12.5" compact laptop form factor or can be sued a dual screen laptop this is a very different kind of laptop with cutting edge hardware and I give you an overview in this video.

Please note this video was made in #collab with Asus India and this laptop was a review unit sent to me by Asus India but will be going back to the company and all thoughts and testing done was independently done by me.

My first convertible tablet was Asus T98, a 10 inch windows laptop purchased at year 2008 which had windows 98 pre installed but I installed windows 7.
At that time itself Asus 's innovation was way ahead.
Later I purchased another android convertible tablet.
Asus is always known for its build quality and innovation.

Foldable laptops does make more sense than foldable phones. In case of foldable phones drawbacks outweigh the benefits thus future doesn't look very promising however laptops have different story altogether.

Asus laptops are really of high quality, I bought an Asus K15 OLED laptop on the suggestion of Ranjit more than a year later and it's working excellent.
It never lagged and boots up in less than 2 seconds.
For people fearing whether the OLED ages or burns, this is very unlikely as the Asus provides a ton of software solutions through its My Asus app to safeguard the OLED screen.

To me, frankly speaking, this type of laptop is for those who wants to have a thing which are first in the market, uncommon and for flexing. For daily driver, i would still prefer traditional laptop or tablet with normal screen (period)

That ThinkPad foldable even though less powerful, looks much more refined and usable.

A really interesting product indeed. But it feels the type that you would probably use the foldable screen and then forget. Carrying a separate keyboard is hectic, albeit being light I guess it won't be difficult. Also a low latency pen that allows for note making would have been a perfect fit for this.
All in all looks a promising idea but I guess it has a narrow market at present.
