Calculate Linux is a Gentoo-based family of three distinguished distributions. Calculate Directory Server (CDS) is a solution that supports Windows and Linux clients via LDAP + SAMBA, providing proxy, mail and Jabbers servers with streamlined user management. Calculate Linux Desktop (CLD) is a workstation and client distribution with KDE, GNOME or Xfce desktop that includes a wizard to configure a connection to Calculate Directory Server. Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) is live CD with a build framework for creating a custom distribution.

I think you should definitely do a bootcamp series on this. I love the idea of Gentoo, but the times I've tried it I could never get it working right. This seems like a great middle ground for people who want to get their feet wet with Gentoo without having to build it. Anyway, great video as always

But ( 6:08 ) that's better done in the terminal with xkill, just Ctrl+T, type xkill, press return, then simply click on what you wish to kill. :)

Problem I found with this distro Is that I wouldn't find anyway to access repos/sources and that. Other than that. It's a pretty solid OS

I'm, like most others, are a novice user of Gentoo, that's why I use Calculate Linux. But I've tryed to install Gentoo and even thouth it didn't work as i should, it didn't take me THAT long, "only" around 8 hours.

Hmmm... This Linux user's dilemna: Wipe everything and install Gentoo or stay on Linux Mint. (I know I can install alongside, but I prefer a clean, one OS setup.) :-\
