He gets a birthday party because I say so; Traveler is me and me is traveler. I'll gladly stroll around and catch some flies with him. The only ship i want is Kaeya Alberich and Happiness, no negotiations on this one.

this just made me realize that the reason Kaeya gets a shield after getting very low in health is because of the fight he had with Diluc...

I feel so bad for Keaya, he lost both his biological and adoptive father, and in the process losing his closest friend; his brother. Family was like dust to his palm, he had it in his grasp for a moment, but he watched as it all crumbled through his hands, as it left him. I have always hoped Diluc and Keaya will once again unite as brothers, as best friends that both froliced in the flowing winds of mondstadt. They both have they're own pride, but if only they let it down, just for a moment. This animatic is breath taking and explains the emotions and the feeling of Keaya's long kept memories. :)

This made me realize why I love characters like Kaeya and Venti. They both hide their traumatic/tragic pasts with humor and charm. They both also drink away the pain (I'm assuming). I love characters like this, characters that use humor as a coping mechanism because I'm much like that too. Great animatic, gave me the chills and I almost cried!

The fact that kaeya actually thinks that whatever happened was his fault and that he deserves to go through all this is just so sad bro. He actually went to die at the hands of diluc cause of all that pent up guilt and diluc would've literally killed him if he didn't got his vision back then. Kaeya deserves a happy ending the most :(

This is why kaeya is my favorite character in all of genshin. Kaeya didn't ASK to be abandoned by his father or to be a spy sent from khaenri'ah..

This man has to lie constantly to hide his true feelings and to cope with the idea that he can never be his true self around anyone but diluc. I just want Kaeya to be happy. So thank you so much for making this beautiful work of art. 😭

I hope one day, Kaeya and Diluc will be reunited again. We all know Diluc kind of forgave Kaeya and still cares about him in any way, like how he kept the jar Kaeya gave him even though its not matching dawn winery's interior. Mihoyo please make them reunite in the near future

The end scene is just…heartwarming?the way klee ran to him and how he was looking at her.i can imagine him asking jean for a good break in which he wanted to reflect on the past and let his bottled up emotions free, then when he returned to the city he realizes how much people in the city care for him and he is assured that this is home.

I saw Diluc at the end when it was showing everyone who came to celebrate his birthday with him and I burst into tears

This is why kaeya is my main 😭 I feel like he’s the most written in Genshin impact.

I feel like rationally he always wanted to fulfill his duty as a spy (which is why he felt relief when crepus died), but emotionally he doesn't want to betray the love he felt in Mondstadt. He went to Diluc for a solution, but Diluc couldn't give him one. Diluc fought him, but also didn't finish the fight. Then Diluc started distancing Kaeya but also kept his secret. Kaeya is getting mixed messages which is why he insistently tries to get Diluc's opinion. I think Diluc acts this way because he wants to show Kaeya that he doesn't approve of him being a spy, but also doesn't want to completely push him away. Therefore, I think right now the more love he feels in Mondstadt, the more pain he feels. Rationally he never wanted to betray Khaenriah, so the love he feels just puts more emotional stress onto him.

Ive been absolutely dying over Kaeya and Klees interactions throughout the Mirage event, so her being the one to lead him to the group of people who loves him in the final scene hit home even harder than it usually does when i come here for a rewatch of one of the best things to come out of the Gsneshin fanbase
