About:
Cyclops (Scott Summers) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in the comic book The X-Men. Cyclops is a member of a subspecies of humans known as mutants, who are born with superhuman abilities. Cyclops emits powerful beams of energy from his eyes, and can only control the beams with the aid of special eyewear which he must wear at all times. He is typically considered the first of the X-Men, a team of mutant heroes who fight for peace and equality between mutants and humans, and one of the team's primary leaders.

Cyclops is most often portrayed as the archetypal hero of traditional American popular culture—the opposite of the tough, anti-authority antiheroes that emerged in American popular culture after the Vietnam War (e.g., Wolverine, his X-Men teammate). James Marsden initially portrayed Cyclops in the 20th Century Fox X-Men films, while a younger version of the character was portrayed by Tim Pocock in the 2009 prequel film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and he was portrayed by Tye Sheridan in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and Dark Phoenix (2019) as well as a cameo in Deadpool 2 (2018).

When Kinetic energy or (movement energy) collide with objects, they create friction in witch the energy is transformed into heat so when Scott shoots something with his vision, it is reasonable for that object to catch light so when its shown on screen as heat vision, technically it is correct and shown correctly. They have not fixed it or shown it properly finally lol.

How about Viggo Mortenson or Alexander Skaarsgard as Cyclops?
Both are studly, kind of stoic, muscle bound. I'm surprised they have not been cast as MCU super heroes already! Henry Cavill makes some sense too. The emphasis should be on Scott's leadership skills, that is his real power!❤

We've already seen plenty of Jean Grey's Phoenix in past movies, and plenty of Wolverine too.If Cyclops is going to be front & center from here on out, why not bring in Emma Frost too!?! She became Scott's lover & fellow team leader in the comics, and is a terriffic complex character! I'd love to see their tumultuous relationship unfold in future films, & how much influence she had on him. How about Cameron Diaz as Emma Frost...with a sexy bare midriff!❤😂😮

Cyclops has always been a great leader for the xmen! I don’t disagree with that but I’ve been hoping to see the rouge with useful powers ( invulnerable, flying and super strength ) and maybe an actor with a southern accent 😅

Did anyone even read the xmen comics? Cyclops was not in the top three xmen “ Wolverine, storm and Rouge were the main favs and Hollywood Butchered Rouge’s character! She had no use in any of the Xmen movies

A story of Liberty Legion or All Winner Squad versus the X-Men I don't believe they've ever fought. If they bring them in the Battle World secret wars story it would be a way to introduce Marvel's WWII era characters. They could come from an Earth that's further back in the past.
