Spinning lace yarn short forward draw.

Merino 12 cm staple length, I think 18 micron.
Handcombed without keeping the fibres direction. This sliver is 3 g, long way to spin. I’m not spinning too fine here though. Average lace weight.
The wheel ratio is something around 12 (drive wheel diameter divided by flyer whorl groove diameter), Scotch tension is pretty loose, practically the string+ spring weight with no spring tension at all.
I am holding the fibre supply like I would hold a live bird, no squeezing. Twist doesn’t go to the fibre supply. My pointing finger of my drafting hand is slightly pulling the yarn creating the angle - twisting zone is between my pointing finger and the wheel, drafting zone is between my pointing finger and the loosely held fibre supply.
If I need to remove my drafting hand pointing finger or reposition my drafting hand, my fibre holding hand fingers pinch the spot where the twist would run into fibre.
3 g gave me a 21 m 2-ply sample which translates into 100g/700m lace weight yarn.
