What I like about TFL: You are honest, you are enthusiastic, you are not snobs. That’s why I watch. I don’t always like your conclusions, e.g., electric cars are the future, but, that doesn’t mean you are wrong.

The Navigator is still one of the most beautiful vehicles I've ever seen. Lincoln absolutely got a grand slam with that one.

My wife has a 2016 LR4 supercharged V6 dark Blue color and we LOVE IT. Has been very reliable. Very comfortable. Very capable in DEEP SNOW. Very quick with that supercharger. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

We can thank Tesla for upping the game of every manufacture. If Tesla wasn’t here doing 0-60 in 2.3 and the 1/4 in the 10’s, we would still be seeing 20hp improvements in everything else and thinking 550hp is incredible. Now we have 800+hp cars in dealerships trying to out accelerate Tesla’s. It’s a good time to be a car guy 😁

I’m not a Dodge guy, but that demon is insane. I would own one.

Good list. Everyone has an opinion. I am on my second Subaru Outback. It's my affordable favorite.

Shocking that your Tesla Model 3 made the best list...did you watch the videos you put up on it?

2020 should be a huge year of changes for the channel...closing in on 1 million subs!

The Chevy SS should have been more popular. It was stellar. However my soft spot has to go to the Kia Stinger

My choices would be Jeep Wrangler but it's cost is getting silly! Then the Kia Telluride, this one's my dream machine, and if I needed to buy a sexy, sporty, gorgeous car it would have to be that BMW that Roman loves, the I8 hands down, amen, that would be my Sports Car.
That's it for me, just those three.
Thanks to Nathan and Roman for presenting these cars/trucks to us here, ..nice job!

What the Korean, Japanese, and to a certain extent the Germans do is they tend to stick with a model and refine it over a period of decades, whereas American automakers seem to be throwing crap at the wall in the empty hope that something might eventually stick. At Chevrolet, model after model has gone the way of the Dodo, while Honda and Toyota keep hammering out better versions of the Accord, Camry, Civic, and Corolla. Hyundai came out with the Sonata very early in their American debut, and today it is one of the finest mid size sedans available at any price, while Ford has surrendered the market entirely.

You brag on the Fiat Abarth, but no mention of the Ford Fiesta ST?

Seeing the 500 Abarth on the list brought a tear to my eye. That was such a fun car to own for 5 years.

I believe the Chevy SS and CTS-V Wagon didn't fail as products. They were just too awesome for the North American market. We don't deserve them.

Glad you like the BMW i8, Roman - just a great looking car. Nathan, your point about it seeming like a concept car was spot on - Lexus (LC500) & BMW really challenged themselves by bringing them to market, as is. (BMW i3 should have stayed in the lab)

I loved the VW Touareg with V10 TDI. Sadly it is not build with that engine anymore.
I was there on one of the first days they had that engine on a test bench at the VW Salzgitter plant about 20 years ago. At that time they struggled with the heat development of the engine. Soon they had sorted out that issue and the test bench did not run into emergency stop during engine warm-up phase anymore xD Unfortunately the production of that engine was stopped due to new emission regulations.
I was also in the R&D area at the VW headquarter in Wolfsburg when the car was still known as the "VW Colorado". I saw the prototypes in the noise test chambers as well as on the test track. Nice times I still like to remember. But then I changed my job profile and I had not been to WOB and SZ in many years. However, I still work in the automotive industry. Just in a different area (supply of quality assurance equipment for manufacturing sites in Asia).
