Let his blood be on us and our children. The Jewish nation wanted, and still wants a military leader, and that is what they expected out of Christ, a way out a roman rule. Amazing that so many scribes, elders, Pharisee's all saw what he was doing, but no one was putting two and two together.

Jesus fulfilled so many prophecies in the Jewish scholars's sights for being the messiah, yet they were hardened of heart, prideful, arrogant, and couldn't see past themselves and their way of life.
