Wherefore it is said in the Scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious. And he that shall believe in him, shall not be confounded.

Your rejection doesn’t change who He is and what He did
The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone Psalm 118:22

''Eyes that do not want to see and ears that do not want to hear"...those who reject Christ as the Messiah. Thank you Lord for accepting us gentiles into your fold. Thank you Lord Jesus for your passion and death and establishing the true kingdom of God which allowed gentiles like us to be called children of God! May your brethren finally see the light so that your chosen people will not be excluded in your kingdom.

The only issue I’m seeing with this is how the New Testament authors basically answered all these questions. According to them, Jesus’ Second Coming on the Last Day resolves all these issues.

My problem with Jesus not being the Messiah is this: How could David’s kingdom be established forever if his lineage is forever lost in the modern time? If Jesus is the Messiah, David’s kingdom is forever established since Jesus comes from his bloodline, thus fulfilling God’s promise to David in 2 Samuel 7. But if Jesus isn’t the Messiah, Jews have a lot of explaining to do for why God’s covenant to David is forever lost due to the extinction of his royal family.

I think Jesus is clearly the Messiah, and Jews refuse to embrace him because of tradition. I understand, it must be hard to believe the Messiah is this compassionate man from Nazareth. But Genesis 3:15 provides the first description of the Messiah, and it says he would suffer a fatal wound. So why is it surprising the Messiah would suffer to pay for the penalty of sin?

Are you making the mistake of only looking at the scripture that speaks of messiah coming as king and ignoring the verses that speak of him as a humble servant? The exiles are returning. They have been since the late 1800s. Who says everything happens at the snap of a finger?

Jesus pointed out that the so called Jews missed the entire point. They kept looking at the physical and ignored the underlying spiritual. The so called Jews of then and now wanted a physical conquering and Jesus brought a spiritual one.

"Ingathering of the exiles"

Jesus opened the door for Jew and Gentile to be saved for God wishes that all would be saved. Everyone has the opportunity to be grafted in to the true Israel which is spiritual. The true Israel are those that follow God in truth and spirit.

"Knowledge of God will fill the world"

Jesus opened the door to have the very Spirit of God dwell within our hearts and be our Guide and Counselor. Because of Him people have the opportunity to live in constant communion with God in Spirit and be given spiritual knowledge to guide and counsel. Only in Spirit can God truly be followed.

"Resurrection of the dead"

Sin brought about death and Jesus provided a covering for our sin thus giving us inheritance to life. Why should the flesh of the dead be raised again on earth?

"Rebuilding of the temple"

Praise God that He, through Jesus (the very Spirit of God inside flesh), gave us the opportunity to be the temple of the Living God.

Look past the physical for God is not flesh and blood.

HE was in the world, and the world did not know HIM.
HE came to His own, and HIS own did not receive HIM.
But as many as received HIM, to them HE gave power to become the sons of GOD,
even to them that believe on HIS NAME.

I'm Native American and I now follow our traditional spirituality but my ancestors were forcibly converted to Christianity. I have studied the early days of the Christian church and the eventual establishment of the Catholic church and then the Protestant and Eastern Orthodox churches and it's so convoluted. In my opinion it's basically a cultural appropriation of Judaism that has been incredibly harmful to the Jewish who in the same way anyone who questioned the Christian church in the past was persecuted. I'm impressed with how astutely Rabbi Singer explains the teachings. Much respect and thanks. I've learned quite a bit from watching the videos.

"Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

An American judge from Texas once said, "get it in writing!" I have it in writing from the master of the universe himself! And he says, "I am the lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and you shall have no other gods before me"

Not only did Jesus fulfill 351 Old Testament prophecies, He came and fulfilled everything
that the prophet Isaiah foretold when God spoke to him. Jesus met all of that, and people STILL wouldn’t believe. God has blinded your eyes and hardened your heart. I will pray for you and pray that you choose the narrow way that is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world✝️🙏

Its interesting that this guy claims their are no prophecy’s that point to Jesus as the Messiah yet he completely ignores Psalm 22 which is the exact depiction of Jesus on the cross. Furthermore, it was written many years before Jesus ever lived.

The eyes of the Jewish people have been blinded for a time until the time of the Gentiles has been fulfilled. They will all one day look upon Him who they pierced and acknowledge that there is no other Messiah coming to save them. He has already been here, died, risen and saved the world (for all those that receive)

Dear Rabbi, I am Muslim and from the islamic perspective, we believe jesus to have been the messiah and we believe in the prophesies of the true prophets of Bani Isra'il (children of Israel) but we interpret these signs to be fulfilled in the second coming of Christ. I am not a scholar and you might know Islamic Eschatology better than me but I believe the Islamic perspective is that All these things will be fullfilled in the second coming of christ. Peace

They are blinded, it need to happen for the Gentiles to be save. In Revelation the 2 witnesses will come to reveal them the truth and they will open their eyes that Jesus is the Messiah.
