Here's my approach to painting against the light in watercolor.
The big practical advice I can give you - is to improve your ability to paint large washes.

At first, focus on getting an even wash.
After you're comfortable with that - try doing wet in wet, lifting, and varying the colors.

Hi love this! Can you please share your colors used, still very new to watercolor and have trouble with color selection. I’m guessing
Paynes Grey, Alizarin crimson, Ultramarine Blue, maybe Raw sienna, am I close?
