Spiritualizing actually prepares us for what’s coming in the physical so yes it’s both. I used to say that the man of sin was our own struggle with our carnal man, is there a man of sin literally coming, yes but we will have the power as Messianic believers to overcome these times of great tribulation, and being prepared spiritually is to understand the unknown tongue that the Spirit is teaching us. So spiritually speaking in tongues doesn’t necessarily speak only in a foreign tongue, but the spiritual tongue, 1 st Corinthians says that we are being taught by the spirit using spiritual words conveying spiritual truths

I feel like Joe did a whole lot of talking, but not much actual teaching, maybe I'm just used to Michael's information packed sermons.

It seems like lately ARA has just become a place for people to come sell their newest books. I guess that's why I like when Keith and Nehemia are on, since they are almost never pushing a book or charity, they come on and teach scripture from their hearts.

Because you hit upon man thinking he is smarter than God (think GMO, cloning) it reminded me if a joke-these scientists decided that since they have it all figured out, they didn't need God anymore, ok, but who is gonna tell Him, so one volunteers and tells Him thanks for everything but now we really don't need You anymore and God replies "Oh really, well before you go make Me a man." so the scientist goes over to this pile of dirt and God says "OH, no, GET YOUR OWN DIRT!" nuff said :)

For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. 1 Corinthians 8:6. In our western world we have the philosophy that good is opposed to evil, whereas the original Hebrew culture (much like the eastern philosophy nowadays) sees good and evil as related, one in need of the other if it was only for the sake of definition. Contrast is the very thing that makes up our entire reality. We see it on day 1 of creation: God created light for contrast. He created land to contrast with the sea. He created men to contrast with the 'soulless' creatures. That's why Adam had to 'date' the animals before God created Eve. Adam needed to learn to know these animals intimately and see that there was a big difference between him and them. He had a soul, that all the animals he met didn't have. After that vital discovery he was ready to have Eve introduced into his life.
What I'm trying to say here; God created evil and good so He could show us what His true intention was; love and goodness for all mankind. His masterplan He is working on is going to be so awesome that it will amaze all of us! The last interesting discovery I want to share is; our definition of eternity in the Bible is not what was intended in the original Hebrew and Greek writing. A'eon is the Greek word that we translate as eternity but it means 'an age, or a long period of time'. Go search for yourself and see what amazing changes that brings to our understanding of the Bible!
