The amount of material you must've printed for it to be this worn out is incredible

May I suggest placing a date label on the new tube and maybe you can find the lifespan.

This happens very quickly with abrasivve filament i think there are very slippery tubes maybe you can try them

I highly recommend you get a PTFE tube cutter to get clean cut ends. They make life so much easier.

I just finished doing that myself! Also check your Slot 1 and Slot 2 tubes inside your AMS. I found mine were very worn there as well.

I hope you are aware that the tubes from Bambu are wider than the typical tubes

I recently just went through this on one of mine. (3 X1's) wasn't noticed until the AMS ATE the filament 😂 ended up replacing all 4 PTFE tubes, used for PLA and some PETG. Only a matter of time before the others begin to fail, span wise... 4 months and almost 3000 hrs on it.

Wow Mihai! That’s surreal man! It seems that going back and forth so much for the color changes takes a toll… do you see any wear and tearing in parts of the AMS itself?

I assume this is down to the cut ends of the filament scraping the tube during filament changes.

How many print hours until that happens is the question

You know they make a tool to cut tubing without crimping or deforming it?

Hey I have a question I have started 3d printing and I want to know why do you prefer to use those tree looking support instead of honeycomb patterns or squares does it have advantages?

might be a chance to make a new thing? looks like the sharp part of the filament scraping agents it is the problem would a smoothed out side with a clamp that allows it to only to push throw not pull help save it longer?-> -=-{-
