I'd say because it's a classic butter cake recipe, it looks slightly denser than the traditional swiss roll recipe but I'm genuinely amazed that it rolled flawlessly! I'm usually a fan of really fluffy, light and airy swiss rolls but this looks quite decent too!

Okay so it wasnt the recipe but it was my luck 😭
I was making it and i grabbed the butter and i didnt have any butter so i had to use a substitue, then i go to put the eggs THERE WAS NO EGGS so i had to use ANOTHER substitute😭 THEN i go to get the milk and audibly say "if the milk is expired im going to cry" AND THE MILK WAS EXPIREDDD so i had to use once a gain ANOTHER SUBSTITUTE, THEN I FORGOT TO SPLIT THE BATTER SO I HAD TO JUST ADD THE FOOD COLORING WHEN IT WAS ALREADY IN THE PAN, and lets just say it wasnt very pretty 😭🙏 so then i got mad and took it out on the cake batter and just used a fork to go from side to side on the pan until i was finished and it actually came out very pretty and swirled, And the batter tasted good😄
