Save on a new car with AutoCompanion:

The two main used Lexus products I feature in this video include the Lexus ES and the Lexus RX. I chose these two cars because the maintenance and ownership costs are much lower than some of the other models in the lineup while still maintaining a high quality driving experience and interior. I also cover how to buy a new car through leasehackr and by utilizing the many excellent brokers that are on that platform to help making new car buying as easy and cost effective as possible. I am not paid by or advertising for leasehackr or any of the brokers on that platform.

You are spot on with your assessment. I like having a "fun car" and an SUV. Back in 2020, I purchased a low mileage 2016 (lease turn-in) Lexus RX350 (Luxury package) being sold at a Lexus Dealership as a CPO. Fair price after much haggling, I did a trade in plus cash, so I didn't have a payment. In hindsight, this RX has been one of the best, most reliable, comfortable and boring vehicles I've ever owned. It's still like brand new in 2024, with nearly 61K miles on it. I will probably keep it until the wheels fall off.

A used Avalon is also a great option if you are looking for this type of vehicle, absolutely love mine.

Just got rid of a 2003 Camry LE with over 200, 000 miles on it. Replaced it with a clean 2018 Lexus ES. My wife is still driving her second Landcruiser, a 2001 which is immaculate and she gets asked monthly to sell it. Love the Toyota and Lexus products.

We bought an older RX with low miles, one owner, always taken to dealer for maintenance, for our daughter in 2016, and it's still going strong, no - major issues at all. We are so happy that we're going to buy a newer one for ourselves.

My 2002 ES300 is still going strong. Best Car I’ve ever owned and this is car #21 been driving for 40 years. Just turned 167k miles. Had 4 struts installed over the summer now it rides like new. Not OEM struts but one notch below. I can’t tell the difference. Not a creak or rattle in the interior. Best fit and finish. Quality is unparalleled. Paid $5, 490 in April this year. Original owner maintained this at a local Lexus dealership thru 110 k miles
I’ll be keeping this for many years !

This year I’ve taken my 2010 RX on five road trips. It currently has 136, 000 mil s on it. Those trips include three trips from Tampa to the Florida Keys and two trips to North Georgia. Even after 11 years my RX is a great car for taking a road trips. I laugh when people call them boring but that’s what makes them so comfortable for traveling is the smooth ride. My brother and my sister-in-law have driven my RX, as a matter fact, my sister-in-law has a 2017 RX 350 F-Sport, and they both comment how my car still drives like new😎

You’re absolutely right, I bought a 2012 Lexus ES 350 7 months ago with 92k miles I have 102k now put about 10k miles already, and absolutely love the car no issues at all besides oil changes. I still get compliments here and there telling me how clean I keep my car

Bought an 08 is350 2 years ago at 86k miles for 11k. I’ve put 50k on it since then with no troubles. The interior has held up well and is much more comfortable than my brother’s late model ford. While the insurance and premium gas take a toll, the hassle free “fun” commute is well worth it.

Proud Lexus owner here and I can say that nothing beats the quality build and long term performance of my 2005 ES330!!! I have only good things to say about the car and my friends

Bought an 08' IS350 RWD w/ 60k miles & the premium package five years ago for 21k and so far it's the best car I have ever owned. Even till this day, I find the car to be prestigious yet unassuming.

If you have the time, buy private and that’s how you’ll get someone who took care of the vehicle. Bought an 06 LS430 for 8k and 95k miles. Took time to find, but they were the original owner and had records of maintenance.

I just found your channel and this is solid gold! It’s like you’re speaking directly to me the first few minutes. I just wish you still had that LS, that was on my list for the exact reasons you said. Definitely subbed.

Interesting that this video was suggested for me today. This morning I just bought a 2013 Lexus ES 350, 33k original miles, loaded, one owner, garage kept, babied... got it for half the sticker price. Same Matidor red color as the one in your video. Ive owned 20+ vehicles over the years, and the way this ES looks and drives (first impressions) is superb to all of them.
