When multiple crowd members shouted "yes you can" it broke me up.

As a person with ADHD, I can 100% confirm this is how a conversation with me goes. It's just all over the place.

Most comedians, hearing something weird from the audience: "I'll pretend I didn't hear that"
Drew, hearing something weird from the audience: "Who said that? I sense a source of fantastic comedic material!"

Adhd people always attract other adhd people, and one day, we’ll take over the word

Drew's ability to interact and riff off a crowd is actually astounding. He makes it seems so effortless too.

Wait until Drew learns about the Creeping Devil Cactus, the only cacti that can move.

I was already crying from laughter and then as it faded out just "I'm usually the most fucked up one in the room" set me off all over again!! This just gave me flashbacks to my college friend group - 4/5 of us had ADHD, 2/5 were autistic, and the only one without ADHD was a Theater Kid!

i was diagnosed with ADHD at 9 years old and let me tell you, if someone without ADHD/ADD listened to a conversation between me and my ADHD mother, they would have an aneurysm 🤣

I swear some of your best comedy comes out of interacting with the crowd, I’ll never get tired of seeing these clips. 😄

I’d love to just see Drew just doing standup comedy in a room full of us people with adhd; it’d be chaotic and amazing to watch

“They don’t wait until you’re done talking, they think if your mouth is open that’s what they talk into” I have never felt more personally attacked in my whole life lmao

The riffing off the crowd *is* ADHD. Instantly connecting random tidbits of information to multiple tangentially related thoughts? That's an ADHD trait and Drew uses it to the greatest comedic effect. I wouldn't be surprised if a disproportionate amount of the people going to Drew's events are ADHD--the thought process he jokes from is very relatable and it is true that ADHDers "attract" ADHDers simply through the vibes.

Ive been watching Drew's comedy for years and the control he's gained over his stutter is incredible. I didn't even notice it during the entire segment. Congrats dude!

Hahaha she says you can’t kill succulents and along with the crowd I said, “Yes you can.” It takes a special sort of person to kill succulents. When someone gives me a plant as a gift I give it to my neighbors unless it’s lavender or rosemary. Those can be used if they die and everything dies.

My poor husband married a woman on the spectrum, and we had four sons who inherited ADHD and/or autism. Five out of six of us are neurodivergant. He often sits in a room with us, his head bouncing back and forth like a bobble head, just trying to follow along with our conversations while we’re all jumping from topic to topic.

There is something really cool about this comedy style. Most of the time comedians going back and forth with audience members the video has something to do with heckling and the comedian is genuinely trying to humiliate who he/she is interacting with. Not here. This is different. This is like a group discussion with a really witty person with a microphone who was genuinely interested in the people he was interacting with. I couldn't stop watching. Very cool

I like how Drew seemed so genuine about his interest in talking about the cacti at a certain point, but then he flipped like a switch, like "you got any of that sap on you? I have the biggest headache from this conversation"
