This man is a hero to my family. Tonight, for the first time ever, my son saw someone who looks and moves like he does. As we sat there and watched, I cried while my 10 year old soaked in your performance. With only your words playing from the television and the rest of the family watching and listening, I could feel the confidence rising in my son, and everything suddenly felt more comfortable. Samuel, if you read this, from the bottom of my heart... Thank you.

The ability to make fun of yourself is so powerful. Every joke was about his Tourette’s which can get repetitive after awhile but I think his audition was a really good start for him. As long as he doesn’t go over the top with these types of jokes I think he’ll be fine.

YAY! Funny! So great to see awareness about Tourette's being shared! I have it too and pick up other people's tics all the time - including their accents.

I have tourettes also so this was nice to see. Especially when the things he talked about I could relate to.

I've noticed a trend of people with disabilities making fun of the disabilities they carry which is great cuz it spreads a good message in a funny positive manner lmao

He performed at my college a year ago and he played off the crowd SO WELL. It was the best part of the show!

This deserved a golden buzzer, not a bunch of freaking singers. 😩

As someone who has Tourette’s Syndrome I absolutely love this! My tics started at 17 (which is very rare) so it’s been a major adjustment. Living with a disability that looks like your being bad or naughty on purpose is hard and hilarious every day. It’s brought tons of tears and laughter. Hearing or seeing things can trigger tics, so that keeps life interesting. And constantly getting new tics, vocal and physical. Tourette’s though can make getting jobs, going to school, going out or anything very hard. So remember even though Tourette’s syndrome to so many looks like a “fun” disability. It’s got a lot of pain along with the funny moments. It’s not something you should ever wish to have. (Only mentioning on this, because for some reason so many people wish they had tics. But when you are hurting yourself and others because of tics, you would never wish for it.)

I found his jokes hilarious personally as someone who has Tourette’s syndrome myself. Jokes and comedy becomes 1000x better when you can relate to it yourself. This guy is going to be my #1 for this season

My son has Tourette's. When the audience rose to their feet, I just broke down in tears of gratitude. Blessings always, dear Samuel for bringing awareness in the very best way.

My nephew has Tourette Syndrome and it's exhausting for him at times. I wish Samuel great success.
