Cadillac SRX Welcome Lights - EASY INSTALL

In this video, I add some Cadillac lights to the bottoms of my doors. It's a fun and easy project that turned out great! Anyone can install these lights and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. These lights will also work on other Cadillac models.

Do you find these provide a similar level of illumination, as compared to the regular lights? I think they are kind of clever - a bit of tongue-in-cheek for my friend who rib me about having an "old man's car." Seriously, though, I bought my first Cadillac when I was 30 because I worked for an international bank and the "red sports car" look is anything but "conservative banker." Now, at 66, I'm still with Cadillac.

So, these are cute, but do they light up the area very much?

How long did they last. I want to buy some but the reviews are horrible. Most say that after a few months you can’t make out the image or words are. What’s your opinion?
