Unboxing The Beatles - Revolver - 2022 Special Edition Super Deluxe Vinyl Box

In a follow-up to my previous video "Mix up or mix down? The Beatles - Revolver - 2022 Remix vinyl LP compared to the original mono LP." I have now purchased the Super Deluxe Vinyl edition.

I have also now compared the original stereo and new stereo remixes over headphones, something I think this was made for...

Once again many thanks to Raves From The Grave for supplying both the stereo vinyl I bought last week, and this new Special edition Super Deluxe boxed set, and for exchanging it (you'll see why in the video).

I have the original 1966 mono the 2014 remastered mono and the deluxe 2022 mono. The new one sounds to my ears closer to the 66, it has that punchy full sound. The 2014 sounds good but maybe a bit to audiophile if that makes sense. I believe this will knock you out!

A lot of damaged goods from GZ recently unfortunately. Two of my discs is warped. And that happens way to often from this pressing plant. Not ok for todays prices if you ask me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks for another great video Dave. Really enjoyable and informative as always. Any thoughts on the current pressing quality from GZ compared to the earlier Beatles reissues being pressed at Optimal?👍
