Some things I feel would be important if they want to be a genuine step-up from PragerU is to include citations (not just in comments, but maybe a nod in the videos themselves) and try to encourage proper information literacy, such as learning to evaluate sources and improving comprehension.

When I first heard of the Gravel Institute I was thrilled to hear that something big was going to be directly challenging PragerU's unchecked propaganda on the internet. But I was also worried. I was worried because in the trailer for this channel I heard it was going to be combating it with "leftist" ideas. I was worried of this because when I first think of that I imagine PragerU's propaganda, but with a leftist tone. But after watching a few of these videos I honestly don't see that happening. I am hopeful that the Gravel Institute won't just be socialist propaganda and will be educational about the absurdity of right wing echo chambers and propaganda groups like PragerU.

I say this as a left of center Biden supporter.
