Keep! The display is awesome, more crisp in my opinion and makes reading fun for me when there is color and stylus and small things like that and after playing with it I can’t go back to my kindle paperwhite. I’m not heavily invested in the ecosystem meaning I use the library for basically all my books or I get them from free resources online and sideload them. The kindle recently deleted all my books and I got the kobo libra color immediately since that pissed me off haha. I also hated the dark mode and the backlight on the kindle and (get this) NEVER used the backlight!! I would read under my bed stand lamp with the brightness down to zero. With the kobo libra color, the backlight is easier on the eyes and I have zero issues. It’s definitely more grainy than kindle but the kindle looks bold and blurry in comparison to me now, and feels like I’m using a product from 1999, hard to explain. Also…you can always sell later and buy whatever Amazon comes out with. I think that’s more fun than waiting lol

But your Kobo can also tell you how much time you have left in the chapter? At least mine does...

I would say keep it. Colour eInk is the biggest pro..I also love the Pocket and OverDrive integreation. Kobo does offer Kobo Plus, which is the Kobo version of KU.

Wait, I have a Kobo libra 2 and I can see how much time is left by chapter and the whole book 🤔 It's in the section up where you can adjust the light and letters in more details, and next to the logos of lights (a sun), the letters Aa and then a bar of statistics 📊

You can change the setting about the pages and percentages! But I think you’re heavily invested in the Kindle ecosystem and it might be hard to leave at this point. Especially with KU

You know how I feel about this lol. You should box this Kobo color reader up and send it back. Amazon will have something in 2025, you can’t transfer your Kindle books over, I don’t think the Kobo library is as good as KU. And so you really love it that much??

I think Kindle will have this in color within a year from what I am hearing. I just got my Kobo but think I am returning it. As I like to red in bold fonts and can’t figure how to do that plus transferring Kindle books over it worked for two books . I have no idea what I did…lol I downloaded caliber and did my serial number and all the other stuff but I am no computer tech person…lol

It is pretty but I fear I am team kindle even with the color…. The font is weird 😅 even when you change it… too expensive for what you get

I would sell it because your kindle library will not move over. I did hear that kindle might be coming out with kindle color next year.

I would sell - I really wanted to get it but the cons outstayed the pros ( pro only being that it was color!) I’m just waiting until the kindle comes out with color!! That will be the day plss

Don’t keep it if you’re subscribed to kindle unlimited and kindle’s battery is better

Sell it. The device is too fragile and break easily.
