This movie should've gotten at least THREE trailers. It's releasing between two DC movies that feature problematic POS and they're sabotaging all of these movies not just for lack of marketing but also spoiling plot points like they're nothing!

Standalone superhero movies aren't going to cut it. We've proven that with the Walter Hamada DC run, of which Blue Beetle is a part. However we may feel creatively about the Snyderverse, it was a financial success because people had a sense that the movies were all building to something. I was curious how Wonder Woman tied into BvS, how BvS would lead to the Justice League, how Suicide Squad's villains would play into future solo movies for Justice League members, and I was curious as hell to see the nightmare timeline play out. I wasn't down with every single creative decision, but I felt like it was worthwhile to watch all the installments because of the overarching narrative. We've lost that completely now, and I think Marvel is suffering from it too because average viewers can't make the linkages between all the phase 4 and 5 projects that have come out so far.

TBF this could be an interesting gauge for the studios in that we are 'getting what we asked for' in fan casting an everything so if this doesn't do well an we don't go an support who an what we ask for they could be very tight in the future accommodating fan requests vs their own ideas n interests.

Isnt it something like 10-15% average if the execs took an average 10-15% cut that most companies in this kind of trouble would be ok and writers etc wouldnt have to strike?

I will be seeing it and I hope it makes more than the projected amount in theaters. But at the same time there really hasn’t been a lot of promotion for this film which could be the issue whereas they did to much promo for flash and it still flopped 😂

The comic book era was just fine. It was the massive amount of bad content that had people walking away.

I don't know about this movie. I still don't know what they were thinking calling Batman a fascist. Way to tick off your fan base DC!
