When we think of endurance, we may visualize a stereotypical long-distance runner with a tank-top and a grimace, running on a sidewalk in a relatively steady but high pace. When it comes to Hollywood movies, they often portray some Rocky-type character chopping stacks of wood in the midst of a snowstorm as if his life depended on it.

Preconceptions like these are not fictional however; they are a reality in many training facilities. Boxers, wrestlers, football-players, basketball-players, many athletes of sports with volatile and dramatic nature in terms of effort, seem to get handed to them an outdated idea of endurance—or ‘’cardio’’ (as it is often incorrectly referred to as).

In this video, we will learn that there is more to endurance than simply doing ''cardio''—or steady-state aerobic training as it is more academically known as.

Do you split "endurance" for two categories which is stamina ("heart and lungs") and endurance (muscular endurance)? Great video as always.
