A good memory - short country walk with black Malabar Arabian stallion Nasr - rest in peace friend

Rare Arabian stallion Nasr Mubaarak was 2 1/2 years old, and too young to be ridden. Instead, we went for walks around the farm and neighborhood on a lead to expose him to new sights and sounds.
Did you know yellow is the traditional color to warn people that a horse is a stallion? We think he looked pretty sharp in his yellow.
He was a brave and curious fellow, with excellent manners, thanks to the herd of horse "aunties" that raised him.

Sadly, we lost Nasr in a barn fire in September. Rest in peace, my friend. We wish we could have watched you grow up...

We let our horses be horses, living free range as much as possible with plenty of social interaction, on a natural diet heavy on pasture and hay and light on grain. We follow the conscious horsemanship philosophy to form true friendships and partnerships with our herd.
