My lo -tech 2007 Tahoe with the 5.3 L V8 @ 125K miles runs just fine, thank you. Don't want to drive a video game console powered by a four banger.

Being a GM Tech all i see is a royal ass load of recalls and module update reflashes.

It pays almost 10 hours to replace the CAT/DPF part of the exhaust, and it takes damn near every minute of that time.

Also when (not if) you start having issues that require anything more than a module reflash, be prepared to not have your brand new Tahoe for 6+ months due to most things on national back order. You can thank everyone who went on strike and just ended a couple weeks ago.

Now if you can afford to have your vehicle w/o warranty i recommend doing an emissions system "update" in whoch eliminates a load of problems.

Who cares about giant screens? They don't do anything for you while you're driving except shine too brightly at night and impede your view out the windshield. People purchasing vehicles based on the damned infotainment are a bunch of suckers.

I dont understand why people get so excited when something becomes "standard" on a base model. All that means is the price will go up with the new features. It never gets a 17" mega touchscreen and stay the same price as last years base model. Its so annoying
