Is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 the KING of the full size new SUVs?

FIRST LOOK: The Tahoe is getting some BIG changes for 2025 from Chevy. On the outside you will discover a totally new front end, lighting, wheels and running boards. On the inside there are better materials and more tech. Under the hood you can get the 3.0L Duramax on any trim now plus the (2) V8 Options. Is the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 the KING of the full size new SUVs?

Finally a modern column shifter and not the awkward button setup. I thought it was bogus that they claim that column shifter takes up space but the button shifter does not.😂😂😂

A great review Joe, as usual. Glad Chevy is stepping it up with infotainment screens. The updated style looks very good. Finally, the inside is updated. Like the gear changes on the steering column. We are empty nesters and don’t need such a large vehicle. Do a lot of in town driving. These large boxes hard to park and maneuver in crowded traffic areas. My Santa Fe SUV so easy to maneuver and park. I am spoiled with its maneuverability. Yeah, it’s smaller but adequate for our needs. At gas prices at $5.00 per gallon, one must either be prudent or rich to drive these large vehicles especially around town. They are pros and cons, good job Chevy.

Absolutely my favorite SUV. Drove a 2012 tahoe back in 2014 and was in love ever since. My second favorite would be the ford explorer ST

I’m glad they enhanced the interior since the price is in the $60K bracket for a base model. I’m also glad they increased the diesel’s power figures. The torque was great on the previous gen, but the horsepower was a little low for me.
