I've been budgeting on and off for quite a few years, but after realizing I have a MAJOR spending problem, I decided that I want to take my finances seriously and track my spending on a granular basis. Just found your channel! I just went from digital budgeting back to paper after many many years of digital. I also found myself getting away from debt payback. So I’m doing a specific amount weekly (every paycheck) in the snowball - treating it like a bill - and then sinking funds after. Plus I’m just following my method. Love that someone else is doing a similar budget style as me.

Great paycheck breakdown! I always do that with my sinking funds as well and was wondering if I needed to start assigning certain amounts to each sinking fund going forward . They’re just so fun to stuff 😬 lol. Done !

I hope you find that this method helps you be more intentional with your budgeting/spending/saving, instead of just going through the motions. The budget should allow you to change priories and goals as your life and needs changes.

I agree with you 100% to knock out the debt with the highest interest rate first. You will eliminate your debt just a little bit faster by doing it in that order! ~💚✨

I just found your channel. I like how you are starting out. I have more Bill's then paycheck like most people. It is making it difficult to do a real budget. Do you have any suggestions for that.
