seeing mystical without glasses threw me back for a moment cuz I'm not used to him not wearing them, that aside, there's a lot of juicy news here today, vr headspace seems to be cooking up something that'll be big along the way and with psvr getting a pcvr adaption upgrade it'll widen the userbase a little more which will be interesting.

Still crazy to me Sony is actually going through with PSVR2 on PC before Bloodborne on PC

The pc support just made psVR2 the best headset in the market right now. You can have re8, re4 remake, GT7 and Half life alyx in the same library!

the app is still called oculus on my phone, with the oculus icon, because my launcher allows me to change the icon and name for all apps

wow. sony is actually putting in the effort to make the psvr2 viable for pc. the app support gives me hope that devs will have access to the respurces they need to implement the proper controller haptics and eye tracking. im definitely buying one in future.

Love the idea of the spider-like 3 cameras because they look intimidating, so when i stare at my idiot cousins pretending I can see them when i'm actually looking through my nose gap, they'll back off even faster from my playspace lol

The AI stuff is not comming to EU and Brazil for now it seems. Governments are not happy on Meta not declaring for users to be able to refuse usage of their data on their AI training.

i just bought the quest 3 last week and its fun, dont regret it but it would have been nice to get a cheaper quest 3 just withough MR, but its still nice

If you use the webxr api, you can already see the Meta3 can recognise objects from the cameras. It says things like "monitor", "chair" "desk" and so on. So no need for AI for that part, but I guess it sounds better calling it ai :)

Is it cool? Defenetly.
Is there privacy concern? for me, yes.
Do I think I need it? Nope.
Is is useful? Maybe.
