Yaknow even though her content rly strayed from my interests, she still rly helped me understand and get comfortable with my period when I first got it wayyyy back in the 6th grade bc of some videos she made on the topic, so whenever I see her pop up I remember that and feel genuinely thankful❤

actually you can get a teleprompter, they just highly highly higgghhlyyyy recommend against it. they say that anyone who’s ever used it had an awful presentation

TED talks are difficult!!! It’s crazy what goes into them. Of course I haven’t done a proper one but in my college Public Speaking class for our final we had to do a speech in a PROPER TED talk fashion/way! I remember it just being so stressful and overwhelming I cannot imagine how much more difficult it is for someone who actually have to do the real thing.

I've taken one public speaking course in community college, and I learned that it is a very difficult skill and a very desirable skill to have in the job market

My buddy is a musician who did a ted talk about being taken advantage of in the music industry for like 150, 000 dollars, and how he didnt let being screwed stop him and he eventually paid it back in full and became a pretty successful musician. Dude told me it was the hardest thing hes ever done in his life (the ted talk)

I was on a committee that organised TEDx talks, and I had respect for everyone who had the balls to do one, There is so much pressure on you to remember your talk, your slides all while having a smile on your face for the audience.

Public speaking is a lot of work but so fun, I absolutely love doing speech and debate. I love doing informative and am really looking forward to mocktrials in February!!!
