Ever wondered where our model names come from? Well a lot of our bikes are named after places, things or trails in Marin County. Duncan heads out with our brand director Chris Holmes to find out a little more about the names behind the bikes you ride.

“One of our most popular transit bikes” Seems like I should buy one and figure out why that is, eh?

I am going to honest the San Quentin 2 was not the bike I was going for last October, the Pine Mountain 1 was my first choice due to being Cromoly, and due to myself being Adventurous. After a careful consideration I want to consider working at the bike industry, whether it's a family bike shop or more well known bike shop, and I have no work experience whatsoever. Worst part that I have been at least a year after applying for family owned bike shop to Jax, it's frustrating to kept waiting being told that there is a position only to told that there isn't a position, or have sent me a notification just plain disrespectful if you ask me.

Hello Marin Bikes, I have a Nail Trail 6 and absolutely love this hardtail. Where did you get the name from? Local trail would be my guess but would love to hear it from you guys...your brand builds great bikes and love the brand itself. Any chance in the future for a dedicated DH bike? Would love to see what your team would come up with. Cheers from the PNW.

Idk if this will get anywhere but my girlfriend and I just made a cross country move to Washington and the first night we got here our bikes got stolen out of our uhaul by somebody breaking the locks.. as well as all of our clothes and kitchen stuff, we both had San Quentin 2s and now we have nothing

Where did the Marin Pioneer Trail get it's name from? I've been kinda hooked on Marin since I first saw one, very beefy frame. A few years ago I picked up a Pioneer Trail privately and my LBS said it was well worth tuning up. Thanks.

Thanks for the continued videos. I have become quite partial to Marin because of the spirit behind the brand. It's more about the ride experience than selling the latest technology.j
