First reviews of this movie have already come out and this movie sounds totally sick, no joke its being described as one of the best alien movies of the franchise and even one of the best movies this year, so pumped for this movie

Prey was surprisingly good thanks to a good story. I have high hopes for Romulus.

You are absolutely insane to say alien and predator franchises are dead. Are you living under a rock? Just because there has been a twenty year stretch, if not longer, of bad films doesn’t mean the fan base isn’t there. Video games, toys, and all the other gimmicks are still selling like crazy. They just need to stop making bad films and this franchise wouldn’t be a laughing stock. Hopefully they make an AVP reboot that is straight horror and is based in the future with true grit

I would pay money to sit in the theater with Kris to see her reactions 🤣

My biggest pet peeve is when someone says a franchises is dead. That is such a lack of imagination. 99.9% of franchises could be reinvigorated with just the right idea and the right talent behind it. One of the two always fails and that’s why we get horrible films more often than not. But all you need is a little inspiration and the right talent and you can always get a great sequel out of a franchise.

I’m so hyped for Alien: Romulus and Nosferatu. I cannot wait to watch Alien: Romulus next week. I hope it’s great and makes a ton of money.

I HATE the people who say "we don't NEED another XXX film"...so stupid.

The other 2 Prometheus and Covenant are highly well done pictures, I support this new 🆕 Alien 👽 very much.

Damn comments are full of haters, watch interviews of the director, he is super invested in the project and a huge fan of the franchise.
I think this movie will be a great success 😉👍

I hope Romulus does well. It looks really good, and like it’s going back to formula. I’ve been checking ticket sales in Dallas and the seats are pretty empty. I’m worried. People are not booking seats past early showing on Thursday and then it drops off on Friday.

I guess no franchises is ever dead, it’s simply down to making good movies 🤷🏽

Seems as of today the first set of reviews are out for the early screening they had and they have all been super positive. Some are calling it the best since Aliens and some are even saying it’s the best of the franchise. Sadly I won’t be seeing it until the week after it releases.

Alien and predator are dead franchises? There are just some things you just shouldn't talk about because you sound incredibly ignorant. You know what's an actual dead franchise? Star Wars. Alien and Aliens built a strong enough base for the franchise to stand on and withstand the few duds we've gotten but in no way is the franchise dead. People have been extremely excited for this film ever since it and it's director was announced. Oh and the Predator franchise just had Prey a couple years ago, it's nowhere near dead.

I’m thinking this movie probably won’t open that big simply because the Alien franchise has had a never ending stench on it since the third movie, that’s a long time, and so it’s understandable if this movie is gonna have an uphill battle, but if word gets around about it being good I think it can hold the #1 spot for a couple of weeks, because Transformers One is the first real competition it’s gonna have, The Crow I don’t think is gonna have a very large audience and I think it’s kind of a 50/50 chance that people are gonna be interested in Beetlejuice 2, and so while the bad reputation of the franchise is gonna hinder it quite a bit I think it can make a decent bit of money if it’s good

Yeah it makes sense. Clearly they didn't expect Prey to pop off like it did (one of the reasons it likely went right to Hulu). Showing there is still a market for these older franchises they are trying to give the Alien franchise a shot. I am just glad we are moving away from that Prometheus storyline. Its clear it was stonewalled.

my pitch for an Aliens vs Predator movie...The next class of young predators are sent to earth to hunt before they can become warriors. But as they approach Earth, they realize that something is off. They cannot see the illumination from major cities. They land and soon find out that Aliens have invaded Earth and have wiped out most of humanity. They are immediately wiped out but not before sending a distress signal back home. But the Predators know what to do and send an Alien extermination squad. The predators are able to find the final human stronghold and make contact with the humans. They learn the location of the Alien nest where they pinpoint the location of the ALIEN KING. Think about it, multiple queens working together to give birth to an Alien King. They go on a suicide mission and nuke the nest, sacrificing themselves to cleanse the holy hunting ground, Earth.
