Alien: Romulus was actually pretty damn good. It was SO refreshing to finally see the Alien franchise go back to its roots with its* dark, creepy set pieces and environments, crazy good/creepy audio and the music was great.

Growing up in the 90s the practical effects of Alien, Aliens, and even The Thing use to terrify me as a boy, I cannot wait to see Alien Romulus this Friday.

THATS exactly why horror movies in the 80s were the best. Cause they made everything like that. The creatures u see are actually real. It just looks way better on screen too. They really need to use them more often

No worries, in the comics it’s explained that if a hive is big enough the shape and size of each xenomorph become more unique and diverse depending on the role they play in the hive like a colony of ants bees & termites
a xenomorph this size could be a warrior or an ultra xenomorph meant to protect the vulnerable queen, being 3 times more powerful aggressive and faster than their 6ft counterpart
