traktor s4 !! such a good controller and makes it easier to combine and tweak multiple effects, something that rekordbox can't do. learnt a lot from this video and already have your "open format DJ" course .

Sometimes I will use FX on the build ups or break downs but that's about it...
I do like the finger drumming cue points idea and will prolly try it in a practice sesh soon..

Double Drops with some chops. I do love the technique of using the 2 other channels and input a loop then shorten that loop to another Drop.

Would be interesting to use these techniques with minimal deep tech as well. Since I surf around that genre, it's difficult for me to create a good 'hype' for the drop.
