I'd agree with some things here. I guess it depends on your age but as an older man I go for pique cotton polos, unlined feild jacket (pockets are useful), check out Barbour Skipton in olive, long sleeve lightweight cotton shirts with a discreet pattern or plain half the price of linen and more practical Maine £20 at debenhams, clarks driving mocs, lightweight socks to match trousers, lightweight five pocket trousers, maybe cotton linen blend in charcoal, navy and olive, a cap or hat, craghopers sherman gilet for when it's hot and you need some where to put your stuff, slim fit chino's if you go to nice places, polarised sunglases, cotton v neck, espadriles for beach, suede derbys, unlined sports jackets, avoid anything with horizontal stripes, camp collars, smart trainers, t shirts unless you're in good shape, showing ankle/cufing pants, garish colous, garish big paterns, logos, sandels cargo shorts cargo trousers.

Ya'll should visit Houston, Tx in the summer. The cooler summer nights are still in the 90's and upper 80's. I'm sure that's the case in Phoenix, New Orleans, Florida. etc. etc.

Are gray leather sneakers a workable alternative to white sneakers?
My summer wardrobe consists mostly of jewel tones of navy, white, red or gray shirts over jeans or chinos. I just don't like white sneaker and thus am considering the Ace Marks Duke Sneaker in "Grey Pebble".
