As a B58 Manual owner (BMW M140i 480bhp), I can only imagine what it's like on this better handling platform. However with a decent exhaust the sound combined with the manual transmission is such a great experience. I mainly end up in 2nd-3rd gear on the majority of the driving roads which don't have long straights, but the B58 just pulls even in stock form.

My first 2 cars were Supras when I was in college. With family and growth we moved over to BMW sedans (5 & M5) but always with a manual! When Toyota announced the Supra was coming back I was all too ready to go back to my first love, BUT Toyota threw me for loop when they said no was a none starter and complete deal breaker for me! With Toyota out of the running, I looked at getting my first corvette but wait they did the same freaking thing and so did BMW no stick. Out of no where comes the Cadillac Blackwing with a stick..So I zero in on the Cadillac but then Toyota says “I hear you” and does No doubt in part in response to their old rival the Z....You never forget your first love. So the marriage of BMW and Toyota is far from a bad thing for me...I think I might have to go with the Supra again since this will probably be my last stick and probably my last combustion car...
