Having an expensive or exclusive car is a status symbol for many people. It's a sign that you're doing well in life. Every car you're about to see in this video is completely unique - but they're not the sort of vehicles that celebrities would pay millions of dollars to own. Nor are they the kind of cars you'd drive down the freeway. They're simply the most incredible cars in the world!

The F60, the Eifeltower laying on its side, doesnt transport coal, it transports overburden. At 12.31 you can see on the sign "Abraumförderbrücke" which means overburdenconveybridge. By the way, they dig for lignite that we call browncoal.

Flying cars have been here since 1940, yet few people actually buy them. Most flying car companies actually went out of business after a year or two of production as people would rather a small plane then a flying car. The price also makes them expensive, a flying car costs about $110k to $1.1 mil while a small plane or helicopter can be as low as $20k. Hell the helicopter is technically a flying car as the first flying car is also technically the first practical helicopter.

is it just me or did the last vehicle "spitser truck" look very much like the helicopter truck from the 80s TV series "highwayman"?

The accident that the Dymaxion was involved in, wasn't the fault of the vehicle but the opposing vehicle and was on tour of the states. A recreation has been built by the English Architect Lord Foster.

A flying car, what can go wrong there. Have you seen how some people drive ?

I can't help but think that until self-driving technology greatly improves, flying cars are a really bad idea. Considering that a number of people have trouble driving on the ground, putting them in a personal aircraft is a disaster waiting to happen. Scratch that. Multiple disasters. For the time being, I think I'd get a pilot's licence and stick to a single engine Cessna.

It dismays me how often the militaries of the world abandon hardware that could be repurposed or at least recycled.

The only reason I hate this video is because I'm watching it with headphones and the music sounds like someone is trying to beat in my door

There was nothing "madcap" about Buckminster Fuller, or. the Dymaxion car! Its far more interesting to see how much it was based on carriage construction techniques, and to see that he had to use a standard engine for the times. His pragmatic thinking was really thought provoking, courageous, and clever. It's worth a trip to the museum in Reno, to appreciate how he was adaptive in his thinking, but he was NEVER madcap by any degree.

The background music is not your friend. The content is good, these are very rare - but the endless droning on and on and on of the background music is cruel and unusual!
