I’ll show you all the methods, tips, and tricks to get gold skeleton keys from the loyalty store, to crafting, beastmoon, deckathalon, PVP, Portal of Peril, daily assignments, quests, events like spiral showcase and scene, badge rewards, and more! I discuss the pros and cons of different options so you can decide which way might be best for you. If you follow this advice you should hopefully never find yourself running out of keys ever again!

I think at this point I have 40-50 gold keys all from doing daily assignments along with badge rewards; getting 12 keys a month if you're consistent with all your characters from assignments is definitely the best way to do it

Happy to see someone share a strategy I found out myself, I never spend money on this game besides membership so I had to find ways to get all the stuff other people also had. One thing I always do (since I just finished maxing out my Grizzleheim lore spells) is help a life wizard unlock Rat Spin if they don't have it yet, so long as I have enough gold keys. If anyone wants Grendel's Amends, Hammer of Thor, and especially Rat Spin, please DO NOT spend money on the packs for it, it's incredibly easy to get and you can even do it solo like I did. So long as your wizard is below level 30 King Borr has no cheats, so you can just have one wizard as your King Borr farmer.

It also can go by faster if you get a friend to just kill him for you immediately, but they won't get any rewards of course. Or have a friend also use a lower level wizard to remove the minion's shields with wand hits and feint borr so you can kill him fast while they also get the rewards. Takes about 8 gold keys to ensure you unlock the spell. (I don't recommend maxing them unless you don't mind doing side quests and events like I do since it takes over 100 gold keys to max them out)

Doing either method takes 15 minutes or less for you to unlock the spell, or even all of them. Of course, other gold key bosses unfortunately have no tier without cheats, so if you want Ship of Fools you're stuck doing Portal of Peril or Drowned Dan.

Edit: There is currently either a bug or change that nerfs all wizards, even if proper tier level, in skeleton key bosses, and even though you get nerfed to the proper level you still get no rewards anyway. This is hopefully a case of KingsIsle's buggy code again since this is ridiculous if not.

I did the daily assignment for such a long time to the point where I have too many keys😂. Also, the badge keys are pretty good as I had a lot on my max wizard already, so it was like a bonus when I logged in after the update.
