For the date, instead of winding 24 hrs. Start from the 9 o'clock wind to 1 o'clock and repeat to change the date. It's quirky for today's standards, but old vintage watches are like that too.

Get yourself an Amphibia if you liked the Komandierskie. Also beware Of the Vostok rabbit hole, Vostok watches will multiply. 😂

FYI.. 😉 You wind the watch with the "crown"... The "dial" displays the time and the "bezel" is the ring around the dial that you turned and referred to as the "divers dial"... Just friendly info.
And it is easier to wind the watch when you hold it crown down, pointed at the floor, gravity will assist in keeping the crown in the winding position.

That's pretty cool watch. However Amphibias are my favorite ones. Definitely get a 960762 and put black red am diver bezel on it. Down side is it's notched lugs.But really comfortable. Have one myself but I have to fix the ratchet crown wheel.

@ Custom Adventurist  can u plz suggest me a cheap vostok full automatic watch within $40. I dont want to do that hand winding by myself, if there is any cheap vostok automatic watch which can wind itself with my wrist movement in that price range that would be better for me!!
